FOUNDER AND PRESIDENT

From the heart of Bangalore, I am, Amoghadithya, a 17-year-old student, whose journey is likely similar to many of my peers. However, beyond the secure confines of my school, I saw a different reality, a stark contrast of privilege and underprivileged. This reality, where basic necessities like a meal and warmth during cold nights were luxuries for many, was not just unsettling; it felt profoundly wrong.

In May 2022, while navigating the labyrinth of schoolwork and teenage life, I decided to take a stand against this injustice. NMHM, 'No More Hungry Minds', was born out of a deep-seated belief that everyone deserves access to life's basic necessities and opportunities to cultivate their potential, regardless of their socio-economic background.

I started my mission with the collection and distribution of blankets. The image of villagers near Bangalore, their faces lighting up with hope and gratitude as they received these simple gifts, affirmed the direction of my work. My age or student status never felt like an obstacle; instead, they became my strengths, the unique facets that defined NMHM's approach towards relief work.

Today, despite juggling between my academic commitments and my role as the founder of NMHM, I am unwavering in my resolve. We at NMHM strive to ensure that no one sleeps hungry or cold, and every mind gets the chance to grow and prosper. It is not merely an initiative, but a movement towards a more compassionate and equitable world.
